Kian Zarnegar

Iran by birth, in the city of Tehran, grew up in Southwestern Iran. Father (deceased) was a Physician and C.E.O. N.I.O.C. Hospitals-fields, and V.P. Abadan Oil refinery. Left Iran in early 70's and studied in the U.K. (Sussex & The Isle of Man). Arrived in the U.S. in '75, and have lived in the states of N.C., Ga., Tx., Wa., and since '90 in Northern California. Work as a Lead Aviation Maintenance Tech. for a major U.S. airline, and also as a real estate investor. Enjoy Football (soccer), racket sports, swimming, playing the guitar and singing, etc. Took up photography shooting while in the Isle of Man, especially with the T.T. races around. Shot and developed mostly in black and white using a Yashica 35mm. Colour photo developing at home or school was not so feasible then. Still enjoy photograph as a hobby and would like to be more involved. I feel that I have the talent for it. So what better than being involved with people who know the art so well at fotocommunity. My plans are to be further trained in the art so that I may expand on my interest in the field. Perhaps take a short course with Nikon, or Cannon, or with you in Europe, or if interested I can help you establish here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I feel positive you will have many supporters here and the art can be supported rather inexpenssively. As a token of interest, I still have my father's original twin lens Rollei 120. It is a magnificent piece of engineering in optical science.
