: ))))) yes, he does look "a little dead" in this shot! amazing, though, that you succeeded in capturing this shy and secretive animal at all – one of the most archaic and mysterious looking creatures of all, i think. his soft black fur, the huge shovel-like paws, the pink little snout – so wondrous and strange… lg, sabine.
Finger nails like a woman !
I´ve never seen a mole, because he´s mostly in the underworld.
I believe you, that he is still alive.
An interesting but rare shot.
best wishes
Werner
My father 's nightmare:)) Standing over a molehill in the middle of a flower bed, he always threatens one day he will catch this bastard but I know he never will because my father wouldn't hurt a fly, let alone such a nice furry creature. How did you manage to take a picture of a mole, btw - I thought they never surface. At least when they can sense a human being around.
No, he doesn't look dead at all. I think he is scared. Now I'm waiting for a hedgehog:))

Beautiful pictures of a mole. We still live underground mole rats, like them, but only white and without eyes.s. sabine krause 17/06/2011 16:24
