Herrliche Farben zeigen die Früchte und Blätter des Joh.Krauts! Das wundervolle Licht lässt die Farben strahlen und das Licht- und SChattenspiel ist ein zusätzlicher Hingucker!
st. john's wort i know, it grows in abundance in my region of the world, yet i have never seen its colorful brother before, with its equally colorful and vaguely oriental sounding name! so this shot, as so many others in your gallery, is an eye-opener for me! the fruit look like miniature apples, allluringly presented on a petaled platter! ; ) sheer temptation for all potential knowledge-seeking insectan adam and eves… ; )) greetings, sabine. p.s.: love the light reflexes on their skin!
I know this as Hypericum....and courtesy of the birds, we have one growing in our garden.
Superb colours here and a shot that enabbles us to recognise such a plant when we see it again.

Dear Mark, the fruits of this plant have you captured in a great symmetry, the two large leaves on the left and the right side look like mirrored.Gilbert13 17/09/2014 11:15
I love the details and the faint red color one the little leaves, very delicate.Gilbert
