you have a good eye for composition, i see a problem with lighting, do you bracket your shots?? is your light meter. are you using film or digital?? post processing are u using photoshop?? I love your subjects, what i keep in mind is what Picasso said about cubism, "one has to master realism before stepping out", also at a interview Ansel Adams and Stighlest mentioned that the general public will only see 1/100th of their exposures. So as we use to say in the old country "keep on shootin". bye the bye "legally" any one and or most subjects are photografable as long as moneys are not earned. as far as i can deduct the head stones are perfectly "legal". we can not shoot the Eiffel Tower at night whe all it's light are on, but it's legal to shoot and sell the images of the tower in daytime. it's good to check and usually very easy to get signed permission on most subjects.
keep at it, good luck !!!!
Thanks Mykel for your comment to my photo 'Shapes'! You take great photos yourself! I can understand your argument, the blur (which is actually grain, 400 iso film). A modern art building with a 'classical' look. But I guess the essence of creativity is breaking the rules, right? So I gave it a try.
