Thankyou for appreciating the view of the piazza in syracuse.
I had several shots of the same scene ( all taken from the cafe that you can see in a neighbouring picture) - but the one i liked best was this one - with the man walking his dog.
I liked this personal, mundane routine - amidst grand architecture that is centuries old, and in a town centre that goes back the greeks, and probably before.
The coffee and croissant that allowed me to enjoy this scene (at my leisure) was about £3
A bargain.
