Yes I could have gotten closer. I have other closer shots, but I wanted the city scape in the background.
Note also I used the gradient tool in PS to de-saturate the picture as you move towards the rear of the boat.
The picture with the full colour is really quite nice too.

Thank you so much, Berthold, for your nice comments and especially for your advice. You are so right, cropping from the bottom gives the image more impact .... I must do more experimenting with cropping I think!
