Sobre mi
I am a writer living in Sydney, Australia. I am an amateur interested in landscapes and macro flower photography. I have a Canon 5D Mk IV and 3 lenses.
I have lived in the Hills District of Sydney since the 1980s and I have been an English Teacher, and then an English Co-ordinator, in several Sydney high-schools. I have also worked as a solicitor for a law firm in western Sydney. I am also a writer of educational texts. I am here at 'Fotocommunity' to learn more about photography and improve my skills. I am an amateur/enthusiast photographer, especially interested in landscapes and macro flower photography. I have been posting images on 'Flickr' during 2020 but I am seeking more critique of the images. My Flickr link is: https://www.flickr.com/people/41942765@N08/
I have two teenage daughters, one of whom has just started high school, and a son who has recently graduated from university. I also love gardening and I have many roses - mostly hybrid tea-roses.

Hello Stephen, thank you for your compliment and for following me. It was an unforgettable and wonderful time in your hometown. It was the end of a long journey through Australia. So I still have some pictures that I can publish. :-) Unfortunately we had to witness the bushfires and were very lucky that we narrowly escaped. I have looked at your great pictures. Every time I look at them, I get wanderlust. Greetings, TobiStephen Sandford 04/01/2021 19:10
Thanks so much Graeme for your wonderful comment. It is most appreciated. Now where exactly is Lietuva-Lithuania? - I am guessing on the shores of the Baltic Sea up near Estonia? Well I am not sure about this community. I cannot seem to work it out - I guess because I am so used to Flickr where I post images all the time. But I will continue on. I primarily came here because someone on Flickr informed me that the only way for a hobby/enthusiast level photographer to get better, was to ask for constructive if not brutal feedback. But so far this has not happened here. Perhaps I need to comment more on the photographs of others in order to become known - like what happens on Flickr.Anyway, nice to meet you. I saw your New Zealand Warriors play at Central Coast Stadium (Gosford) in the final game of the NRL season - and they won handsomely. So, good signs for the Warriors next year. Cheers - Stephen
