A real master of camouflage this bird is... only the silhouette is giving it away....
That's probably the reason for it's not flying away when you approached... :-))
: ))))))) you probably could have given it a jovial slap on the shoulder, pulled out one of its feathers and then run off with one of its eggs (heavy, though, don't drop it on your foot!) – it wouldn't have minded either! ; )) great shot, bryan! purple/coppers sky looks wonderful and matches the iron plumage of the stoic gull (swallow? shorebird?) beautifully! greetings, sabine. p.s.: the egg might make a great paperweight! ; )
