Aghaye Reza smoking opium
Aghaye Reza father of my friend Mamali Sharafeh was legaly smoking opium nearly every day. He was using the drug for more than 40 years and got the licence to buy 10 grams daily.
During the time of 1971 until the revolution in 1978 males could get the official licence but after the revolution the tradition turned to be illegal. The mullahs called it "unislamic".
The controlled using of opium was common in Iran but it shouldn't be glorified at all in our society.
Aghaye Reza the father of my friend Mohammad Ali passed away in 1979 in the age of 92 years.
