If i here the word 'dagpauwoog' and compare it with the word 'Tagpfauenauge' i think both words means the same: the butterfly is awake during the day and has spots wich look like the spots of a 'Pfau/pau' and like eyes.L. Frank

Thank you Frank, in Holland we call it a 'dagpauwoog' the english name is The European peacock caterpillar and officially it is called Inachis io.leau 28/07/2008 13:18
Es ist toll, wie gut die Farben des Tagpfauenauges mit denen der Blume korrespondieren.Die Fäden stören etwas, aber sonst ist das Bild wirklich gut.
