Con Calles empinadas

Hacia el norte de la ciudad de San Salvador de Jujuy, en el poblado de Tilcara las calles son empinadas, y en sus orillas sobreviven menudas casas de adobe que, en conjunto, conforman un cuadro pueblerino acorde al panorama que lo abraza. Vicuñas, guanacos, hurones, cóndores habitan sus campos, compartiendo territorio con lugareños respetuosos de la historia que los antecede. Colores opacos completan esta rústica maqueta, obra de la naturaleza y el hombre.
La ciudad de Tilcara es considerada Capital Arqueológica de Jujuy debido a la cantidad de materiales que han sido desenterrados y a tantos otros objetos que aún permanecen bajo sus tierras. Lo más destacable en este sentido es el descubrimiento del Pucará, sitio dónde es posible revivir a cada instante la época de los antepasados norteños. Gran cantidad de museos se incorporan a este circuito cultural, valiendo cada uno el tiempo invertido en su reconocimiento.

To the north of the city of San Salvador de Jujuy, Tilcara in the village streets are steep, and on its banks survive tiny adobe houses, which together make up a rustic table according to the scenario that embraces him.
