Once through the gate, no more cheerful conversation, our voices reduced to quiet whispers. You could feel it, many people have died here.
Dachau was the model template, for many others.

The day I went was a fantastically hot summer day. But after a short while my German friend and were frozen cold.
Difficult to imagine unless you have been there or one of the other camps.

Oh ja...der Blick der Menschen ist vielsagend. Ich kenne Buchenwald, sehr schlimm war´s.
