Seven-spot Ladybird.

In search of fungi, I came across this Seven-spot Ladybird which made a walk in the late afternoon sun on a shrub with more or less like-minded colours. Soon its hibernation will start.

Dutch name : Zevenstippelig lieveheersbeestje
German name : Siebenpunkt-Marienkäfer
Latin name : Coccinella septempunctata

now this guy picked a much more picturesque spot than mine ; ))! beautiful fall impression! and the back of the ladybug just glistens and shines! this summer there were lots european seven-spots in our yard – it made me happy, because the years before they seemed to have almost disappeared. great shot! greetings, sabine.

Very nice shot of this lovely beetle. Lights are fantastic. Yes, they will disappear for the cold term.
You know, in Hungarian its name is "Katica-beetle" and Katica is the fondling of Katalin... :-)
    Of course, my favourite one...
    Hugs,
    Katalin
