I was in Isanbul 10 year before but can not remind this fragment in that mosque. Good detail captured !

Astoundingly simple yet complex in the interpretation of concept. It's a beautifully lit and well composed image, seen through the eyes of someone who obviously uses those eyes as lenses. Directional light produces an illusory third realm as the puffed pigeons roost gently against the fabulous wall of textures, heiroglyphic symbolism of day to day life and colorful swatches of urban time gone by. Luscious and rich.
