Tulips in Golden Hour - A Washington Springtime Impression

Perhaps not as "Washington-Spring-iconic" as the Cherry Blossoms (*) but I so enjoyed shooting
these vibrant tulips in the golden glow of late afternoon sunshine last week, near the Memorial Bridge.

Turns out my timing was fortunate, as when I returned to do some more
shooting in that area two afternoons later, the tulips were sadly past their prime.
