Carina Favela

Hi I am Carina, I studied social antrhopology and started in 2007 taking pictures as a hobby, I didn´t know I was going to dedicate my life to something that made me feel such passion. The same year I started taking pictures I won the "diosa de la luz" as the best mexican glamour photographer, competing against play boy, maxim ando other editorial photographers with photos of my friends and family. That made me feel like great not just the prize but the fact thar everyone thougt I was an editorial photographer taking pictures of profesional models.
The next year I won the first place in "la bienal de fotografilia" with the picture "Penélope" and in 2010 I won a recognition of a magazine for an international competition of their front covers
These 2010 I started with my web and giving clases at Tecnologico de Monterrey.
I am still a social anthoropologist but I guess now I dedicate more to my passion and still make projects in anthropology as a hobby.
