Hi John, I'm not sure about the origin of this "Atlas Moth" Perhaps it does come from Queensland, I seem to remember my glasses fogging up a lot in the butterfly park from the temperatures and I reckon I lost a gallon of water there as well, Is it truely that hot over there where you are.
Hi John,
Thanks for your nice comments. This tree is actually also a gum tree. We call it Eucalyptus and it comes from Australia. I have a friend in Melbourne and I asked her if the terms eucalyptus and gum trees are the same and she said yes, so now I know. I loved Australia very much when I visited there and I like your photos which remind me of it.
John. thamks for your comments in "bow riding" photograph.... It is not an easy subject, but I always do my best to get good shots from dolphins....!!!!

Thanks for the kind comments. They were taken with the Nikon 950 2MP but great macro. Now I am using mostly a Pannasonic FZ20 with 12x zoom wich is phantastic.
I love cats, but yours would be a little too big for me. Good picture! Yolanda
Thank you for such a nice welcome. I have SAD in winter but I also have GAD, Generalised anxiety disorder most of the time. It's great to be able to walk into the pictures with my mind, and it helps me no end to feel so much better each day. The best tonic I could want. I hate medication and so I tend to love pictures and use them as a way of adventure and happiness. I am sure your pictures will make me feel so much better as Australia is so exciting and so are the animals. Again thank you for such a nice message. It has made me feel good today already.
Hey John, thanks for Your kind comment to
