Thanks for the kind comment on the Canadian falls photo. I had a quick look at your pics and you do pretty well yourself. Later I might get time to make the odd comment. Keep snappin'! Nice to 'talk' with you.
Thanks for your comment Dennis, I have to admit the lady had some nice plump tomatoes ;-)
I am very pleased with my Finepix S7000, great for macro work.
I just paged through your portfolio and found you got some marvelous pics here...
It's always a joy to see people posting photographs not only from different places but from different angles as well... ;-) - Thank you so much for sharing!
Thanks for your enthusiastic comment re my glacier picture. I would suggest that by the time you have processed a load of film and chucked out most of the pics, then scan the films in for retouching and adjustment, you should consider getting into the digital SLR market. A good 5 - 7million pixel camera will last a good few years and will give you the pleasure of seeing pics on the computer immediately, then be able to adjust in Photoshop or Elements (cut down Photoshop).
The mid range SLRs are the Nikon D70, Olympus Evolt E-300 Nikon D50 or the Canon Digital Rebel XT or later models. I use the Olympus E1. You will need ideally a separate hand held flash too. It is a bit expensive but the pleasure is worth it.
