Hi Rob,
Thanks for your comments.
Christchurch always reminds me of John Britten, the designer of motorcycles. My son is crazy about his legend and made me translate for him a few articles and write an assay about him. They say that being far from the tradition of Europe was the reason for his originality. My son studies design now and Britten is his model for an original designer and inventor.
my photos are not minipulated either except for a bit more contrast and exposer and sometimes a negative effect and also animation but they are all from my kodak digital camera programe.
if i knew how to do some of the editing i maybee would try but i love photos as you take them also, it makes it more harder to get that perfect shot !
i will be posting some of my new photos up tommorrow, hope you like.
you have some great photos here Rob, abd you have had a great start to this amazing photocommunity !
i hope to see more of your amazing macros.
you are slowly making some great friends, a great person like you deserves them all, and happiness.
Hi Rob, Some times a use diferent (COKIN) filters, or change it with Adobe Photoshop 7.0, bud not to much. My last photo Fire in the sky ,I used no filters and no Adobe. Bud this evening was very humid, the best days to make photo's like this. That evening I make 44 photo's this one were the best. It is nice to here that you like my photo's, have a nice photo day.
Greetings Jan
Hi Rob, thanks for your kind comments to"Watching the sun go down" the setting for the camera was set on standard. I have the Finepix S500 this was one of there first models to be released and does not have the refinements of yours. My macro, if you can call it that, leaves a lot to be desired. I also have a Contax Aria to use fuji film on.
