I really enjoyed it to walk around there for an hour , wish I could have stayed longer , is a beautiful place to spent some time...

Thanks for the visit and comments...the "blue on blue" was not PS work, as a matter of fact it needs a little PS work on it....I shot it at full focal length with a 2x teleconverter, which I know better...but, I was on a bridge looking down to the edge of a creek, with no way to get closer, and I knew they would not be like that for long, they are not mating because they are both males...a biologist friend of mine says that swallowtail butterflies have a short life span and tend to spend their time in twos or threes of the same sex and species, the only time the males and females get together is to mate....he thinks the male on the bottom is dying and the one on the top keeps trying to encourage him to start flying....nature is a lot more complex then I ever imagined....sorry, didn't mean to rattle on so.....best wishes, den

I took a image from a grass that has flowers like a plume , the name is:
Penissetum villosum
After that I did some digiart stuff to it so it looks like it is captured in a glass boll ...

thanks for stopping by and commenting on my pictures.....this is a big rig truck that has been converted into a racing vehicle, believe it or not they have races and tug-o-wars with these things....

The weather is awful ,no way you can go outside and make pictures so I enjoyed myself today with a little Digital Art ..
