Indeed, above the pots was a street with cars passing by. The cars shadows would have been disturbing.Thank You for Your comments

Very nice. The empty lower left half of the photo need something for the viewer to see. The diagonal of shadow, woman, 3rd plant cuts the photo in half. The woman is heading into empty space in the other half of photo and it's uncomfortable to see nothing but bricks.Sandy
