Amish boy on scooter

In the Amish heartland of Ohio I sat outside the old General Store and watched the Amish people come and go with their horse drawn vehicles as they have done for more than one hundred years back in time. They live without modern stuff like electric lights and cars. When this Amish boy kicked his way up the street I raised my camera and shot him in shutter priority. The parking lot in the background was for horse and wagons only. It was strange to see real life like this almost as frozen in time. It is not a tourist gimmick, but the way these people live their daily life.
