We call this tree a Mountain Ash (the sorbus family) .... and there are many different species here which keep there berries and the little birds fed for throughout the Winter months (VanDusen Gardens, 2 weeks ago.)

We had a sprinkling of snow today ... great atmosphere over the water - but it is already thawing again.
