Dubai Sheikh Zayed mosque (The White Mosque).
The Sheikh Zayed Grand mosque (The White Mosque) raises it's dominating figure in the middle of the Arabian desert.
I had to wait for a while and follow, as discretely as possible, her steps until the slim and elegant lady got herself in the right place for the shot....

oh, this is so ingeniously composed! ebony and ivory… what grace and elegance in the lady's pose which echos the keyhole entrances of the mosque! the sash-like shadow cast by her figure – my favorite detail! greetings, sabine.

An intriguing picture which works very well in b/w. The amazingly glaring whites, almost blinding the spectator, are brilliantly juxtaposed with the lady in the black dress. You waited your time and mastered the difficult lighting situation superbly. The crispness of the image lets the details on the facade and the floor nicely come out.
Unfortunately the bell tower has very little room at the top and is leaning quite a lot.
