@ulli.w. .... seldom do we use the tunnel ... that's Zeelands loss ... we don't go over that often...and when ... then with ferry... walk to Vlissinglen or take the train to Middleburg...
besides
the older ships were more gemütlich... one could take something to eat and drink.. and relax in the large lounge... or be outside on the deck ... (with the new smaller modern faster ships this is not possible ... ein stück Lebensqualität ist verloren gegangen)
oh almost forgot.. there are (supposed to be) two ships... a tour every half hour ... but one ship is KAPUTT... and now it's a crossing every hour ... sad... isn't it)
