  Das Foto wurde von der Fußgängerzone Millenium Bridge aus aufgenommen.
  Auf dem Bild sehen Sie die fünf kleinen Bögen der High Level (Eisenbahn)-Brücke von 1850.
  Die einzige Bogenbrücke ist die Tyne Bridge (ca. 1928) - eine ähnliche Brücke wie die berühmtere Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australien. Beide wurden von der gleichen North-Eastern Bridge-Baufirma gebaut.

  Well - this is a conventional view. But I did like the colour.
  Most of the pictures, this time, were of the bridges reflected in the water.
  Those are the times that we are currently living through.
  Not at all conventional or substantial or easy to grasp and comprehend
  - but thin, insubstantial, unclear, off-key.

  This view is taken from the middle of the new (year 2000) Millennium bridge.
  The view would have been impossible before that time.
  The river is only occasionally, and intermittently, as calm as this -
  so people are happy to enjoy it when it is.
