Camelias .... in blossom January 10/2012

I found a great surprise today - this Camelia bush is blooming already - a sign of an early Spring .... I hope.

A lovely shot which I like very much Adele. I walked through a churchyard in Edinburgh this morning, and to my surprise came across daffodils flowering. Unheard of in January.

It seems very strange to see them bloom in your Winter, but interestingly, I have one in my garden that always blooms in our Winter. I've always found it quite strange
