Central Park Autumn No.4 - A Golden Afternoon on the Lake
Rowers enjoy an idyllic autumn afternoon bathed in late day sunshine on Central Park Lake.
For this shot I used a favorite film-era lens, the Asahi Pentax Super-Takumar 50mm f/1.4 M42
mounted via adapter to my Canon EOS-40D, for an equivalent 80mm field of view in 35mm film terms.
Somehow I think that classic manual focus lens gave a certain nostalgic kind of
rendition to this timeless scene, but Mother Nature most definitely did her part as well.
