Mull Weather
It rained and rained and rained and rained,
The average was well maintained;
And when our fields were simply bogs,
It started raining cats and dogs.
After a drought of half an hour,
There came a most refreshing shower;
And then the queerest thing of all,
A gentle rain began to fall.

Next day 'twas pretty fairly dry,
Save for a deluge from the sky.
This wetted people to the skin,
But after that the rain set in.
We wondered what's the next we'd get,
As sure as fate we got more wet.
But soon we'll have a change again,
And we shall have

A drop of rain

Na da hat das "Mull Weather" ja einen schönen Platz bekommen.

Bei dem Bild fällt mir das Mishnish Hotel/Pub und die damals lekeren Fish & Chips ein :-)

@Elmar, thank you for the compliment:-) Somehow fc loaded it differently to what I expected.
There is something special about the colours and contrasts of the Scottish skies. Here in Bavaria I can't imagine such bright light with such black cloud.

A motif as picturesque as this one would have merited larger dimensions on the screen. What would Scotland be without its clouds? So I just hope it will never become sunnier in the islands and highlands of this great country.

Danke für die Anmerkungen;-)
Für mich ist sie eigentlich DIE schöne Bucht.
In Tobermory habe ich nämlich als Kleinkind gewohnt und mit meiner Mutter Fisch direkt vom Kutter geholt. Und sie ist immer noch so schön.

nicht nur "die Schöne Bucht" - aus meiner Sicht das schönste schottische Städtchen..

das weiss ist leicht überstrahlt - wobei du hattest ja auch nicht gerade einfache Bedingungen..

es weckt dennoch Erinnerungen an schöne Zeiten, die ich dort verbringen durfte..

Wow, sehr stimmungsvoll. Gefällt mir, wie das rote Gebäude vom Sonnenlicht getroffen wird. Wirklich klasse Lichtstimmung!
