Doesn't it make you wonder?
This is a ceiling of a "Hammam" or bathroom located in Prince Taz Palace in Old Cairo- a palace once owned by a rich and powerful Mamluk Prince. The ceiling is carved and topped with colored glass that allows light to beautifully enter the shower room.
