Dragonfly
This was taken with a Nikon D-100 camera, Nikon 80-400mm lense at a focal length of 400mm, F/6.3, shutter speed of 1/125 sec, with a tripod. This is the first time I was able to get close enough to get a dragonfly reasonably clear. I will continue to hope for a calm day and more dragonflies even closer, to get an ‘in your face’ shot.

Karin, Thank you for commenting on my photo. I know it can be better and I am working on it, if I could just get the calm day, the dragonflys to stay still and perch where I can get closer. HA!!! I am not offended by your telling me it is not among my best photos Karin. Thank you againKathleen

STUNNING! - (but) --- :(( you've spoiled us with your high quality photos Kathleen, so I must say: not YOUR standard achievement. You can do it better! (don't get me wrong: I do NOT!) :-)It's a wonderful pic though, - as if the gragonfly was posing for you. Thanks for your patience there!
