Wer meine Bilder letztens etwas beobachtet hat, wird gemerkt haben, dass ich die Bilder unserer letzten Afrikareise strikt chronologisch veröffentlich habe, und dieses Bild war jetzt einfach an der Reihe. Es passt zufällig zu der Stimmung dieser Tage.

Ich hoffe Ukraine endet nicht so wie dieser Büffel. Ich weiß, man soll ja die Tierwelt nicht anthropozentrisch sehen, aber hier stellt sich ganz offensichtlich folgende Frage: Dieser Löwe ist satt und zufrieden. Warum in aller Welt sind also 17 Millionen Quadratkilometer nicht genug für den russischen Bären?

Who ever watched my pictures recently may have noticed that I published the pictures of our last trip to Africa in chronological order. Now it was this picture's turn. It fits to the mood these days.

I hope Ukraine doesn't end up like this cape buffalo. I know you're not supposed to view the animal kingdom anthropocentically. However, the question begs asking: This lion is full and feels contented. Why in the world then doesn't the Russian bear settle for 17 million square kilometers?
