In the Land of Pleasant Living No.45: The Gold at Day's End - A Claiborne Landing Impression
Sunset casts a golden glow over a tranquil body of water, silhouetting wooden pilings and pier.
In the distance, a bird flies just above the horizon, adding a sense of serenity to the scene.
Claiborne Landing on Maryland's Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.
About the series name...
Around the Chesapeake Bay region, folks are fond of referring to the natural beauty of the waterway-
indented coastline and the relaxed and gracious lifestyle it inspires as "The Land of Pleasant Living."
This inviting descriptor was - brilliantly - coined by the long running advertising campaign of a
popular beer called National Bohemian, but more popularly known round these parts as ... Natty Boh.
