The overburn does not totally kill, and possibly could be improved with a little work with the clone tool in PS.
However an unusual and effective portrait.

I agree on the contrast and overburn comment, but it doesn't kill it for me. The composition is good, a definite commercial poster image from the layout.

I went for hi contrast on this image, and it worked for me.

well, i can't join the other guys because as much as i like the crop and overall set up, as much i have to point out that the overexposure on the nose is a "killer" to me. there also seem to be some sharpening borders on the glasses ... would be interesting to know what you did in editing the photo ...

The wolfman !! It`s been a long time I`ve seen some work from his hand.
Anyway, very good portrait !! Strong and has body, the picture I mean. Good contrast.
