Keystone Projector
My parents are in their late 80's and I was surprised the other day when I stopped over for a visit they had all their old movies and photo albums sitting out and they told me that if I wanted them to take them otherwise they were going to throw them out.
Of course I took them.
Is it still life if there is motion in the reels? Maybe I started a new genre, semi-still life.

i've always felt that the english term "still life" is an outrageous oxymoron itself! still = dead, motionless; life = alive and kicking. still = even now, yet; as in "there's still life in the old dog yet!" so way to go, ken, for coining a new term and for providing us with a visual muddle worthy of the terminological one! and besides, down below on the keystone knob it says "still", so you can always drain off any surplus life anyway… ; )) greetings, sabine.Dragomir Vukovic 17/02/2015 6:56

Still life or not Ken, it is an excellent shot and the movement in those film spools is, for me, perfection, and shows that this olden oldie does still work and is well worth preserving.:))
