taken from our boat and looking towards the Georgia Straight and the far away mountains of Vancouver Island

Mansons Landing on Cortes Island was established as a Post Office in 1893 - it has been a steamboat landing and small settlement since only 1950 (thank you, Wikipedia)

Ein sehr schönes stimmungsvolles Bild mit diesen ruhig liegenden Booten und den Spiegelungen. Die rote Boje bringt Farbe ins Bild die den Blick sofort an sich zieht.

Fine image, I may suggest to cut off a part of the sky... the part above the few clouds. This would give the whole shot more tension... regards Berthold

they seem to be intensely hearkening to the sounds of the approaching night, waiting for its blanket of darkness to take away the tender blue and shroud them in pitch squid-inky blackness instead ; ))… very intense somehow and very picturesque! hugs, sabine.
