The cylindrical terraces of Moray in the Sacred Valley are believed to be some open-air laboratory of the Incas. Each level has its own micro-climate, so they probably used it to find out which crops grow best in which altitude, or to breed new, more altitude resistant crops. This sounds like science fiction to you? Reconsider! The Incas were incredibly advanced.
