Low Tide ...... Vancouver's False Creek

We have at times very extreme tides on our coast. This photo was taken on the walkway that goes around False Creek - right across from all those tall highrises - and happens every day!
Hope you like the images of low tides which I will show you in the next few days.

Lovely blend of colors and textures. I especially like how the moss-covered rocks have formed their own inviting color-path, distinct from the brown and gray areas. And what a nice natural counterpoint to the high-rise architecture along False Creek.

It does look low and I like the different colours that the water has left behind on the stone, a very rippled effect.
