Die Saalfelder Feengrotten stehen im Guinness- Buch der Rekorde, weil die Natur sie zu den farbenreichsten ihrer Art auf der ganzen Welt werden ließ. Sie gehören zu den bekanntesten Touristenattraktionen Thüringens und sind zugleich ein eindrucksvolles Zeugnis mittelalterlichen Bergbaus.
