Metro 7000-Series Silver Line Train at Wiehle Ave-Reston East Station

The 7000-series are the Washington Metro's newest railcars.

Here, a 7000-series train on Metro's Silver Line is about to depart the Wiehle Avenue-
Reston East Station in Fairfax County, Virginia in the direction of Washington, D.C.

When completed, the Silver Line will reach Washington Dulles International Airport.

For most of their runs in Virginia, Metro trains run above ground, before
dipping below ground in Arlington, leading to the tunnels under the Potomac River.
