The "Bot"" is the holy center in the buddhist temple were the monks are in meditation and are showing the respect for Buddha.
As I walked into the Yannawa monastery I heard monks chanting inside.
When they were finished with their chanting and came trouping out, I was asking one of them:
"Who were you praying to?"
The monk answered
"Nobody".
Perplexed I was asking:
"How can you be praying to nobody?"
The monk answered:
"I was not praying, I was doing the meditation".
