    stoicism on four legs! what great "de-escalators" they are! mounted police – the epitome of "law and order" at its most likable best! you'd rather pet them – the horses, i mean ; ) – than have them run you down in a riot. amazing, how alert they seem – the horses again ; ) – watching what goes on in the street rather than dozing off… greetings, sabine.

    Looking at the expressions of both riders and horses I would say life is pretty peaceful in Cleveland. A top street scene Ken, I like this one a lot :-)

    When I was growing up in Baltimore, a Mounted police officer was the Friend of every one on the street. He would go along way to help anyone who needed it.

    One of the best wcrop showing the strength and detail in these magnificent creaturesays [imho] to maintain public order. Would you argue with one of these lads....and I do mean the horses.
    An excellent crop showing the power of these beautiful animals.
