My Istanbul Impressions (21)
Istanbul has at least 17 Million inhabitants, somebody said 21 Million .... in such a big city one is bound to find areas like this one, and we stumbled across it along with the area of renovations just below the Suleymaniye Mosque - I did not feel good taking pictures there and have only three ...

But even-though this is part of the city, of their life. Of course one should be sure not to offend someones feelings. Here, I'm sure, you don't.regards Berthold

A scene all too common but well captured Adele. The person in the background disappearing to the right is a great compositional element.

(a global) reality indeed! not a fairy-tale place for sure, but strikingly picturesque, i'm afraid, even if incongruously so, and also quite surreal, due to the probably random but conspicuous fairy-tale doorstep arrangement: i imagine a tiny person hiding his head inside a jacket, and since i'm a woman still under the influence of lewis carroll and his mischievous fantasies, i'm tempted to attribute the spectacle to a severe but undefined edible-substance abuse: "eat me and SHRINK!" ; ) hugs, sabine. p.s.: i like the correspondence between the shoes on the doorstep and the legs walking by on the road!alexander stefanatos 12/12/2014 9:59
Beauty always coexisted with ugliness, dear Adele, otherwise it wouldn't prove it's supremacy...best regards alexander

Hab ein schönes WE!!!! LG! a.
