Olive In The Grass II
Olive was famous as she starred regularly in the BBC's documentary 'Big Cat Diaries' from 2008 onwards. A gorgeous lady, who received her name because she liked to lounge in a specific olive tree. In September 2013 she was found dead with several bite wounds. Olive had had a confrontation with a lion and had lost the battle. She was very well loved because of her 'fame' and beauty, but when she died she left 7 offspring who have kept her memory alive. I have been fortunate to be able to photograph her in 2010. Masai Mara, Kenya.
