Passin' trains that have no names
Song - City of New Orleans- by Steve Goodman
Dealin' card games with the old men in the club car.
Penny a point ain't no one keepin' score.
Pass the paper bag that holds the bottle
Feel the wheels rumblin' 'neath the floor.
And the sons of pullman porters
And the sons of engineers
Ride their father's magic carpets made of steel.
Mothers with their babes asleep,
Are rockin' to the gentle beat
And the rhythm of the rails is all they feel.

great symbiosis between image and words/song! together one feels himself be taken on a ride back in time, when freighthopping was a dare-devil means of transportation, when iron horses were still inspiring awe in the people seeing, hearing and feeling them fly by, when they had colorful names like "the overland flyer" or "the california zyphyr" – the later even existing until today, i think… great shot, ken! i like the upper section of it best, where the railroad crossing sign meets with the motion-blurred logo (or is it windows?) of the whooshing by car! greetings, sabine.
