These are embeded in limestone cliffs which the weather is slowly erroding away to make these interesting shapes

      Hi Alexandra and thank you for your interest, it is a while since I photographed this.  If I remember it is Sheringa Beach South Australia (google earth) to the left of the beach (from the sea above) starts the rocks I think it is in these rocks.  I am told that all this area was sea bed until sea levels fell and left these limestone cliffs all along this part of the coast (and inland).  At the time it was just an interesting shape to photograph so did not record much other detail about the location etc other than the general area

      If you look at the photograph "crowded Beach" that is Sheringa Beach.  The rocks in the fore ground would be close to where these structures were photographed
