Well done ! Esp. in comparison with "highjump". Highjump, despite the impressive posture of the athlete, is more of a nice, slightly surprising snapshot. But the background, the framing, the focus... it all is a bit random.This photo here is artistically much more refined and (seemingly) studied : less clutter, only a single treetop slightly interfering with the subject (it is unnaturally bright). But this is a detail. The athlete and the two bars form a very aesthetic geometry, the b/w rendition brings a sober and puristic style, the light and shadows are right... but i suspect that you are well aware of these things.
