"Graz Series"

This is a picture of the elevator inside the Schloßberg-hill. They built it 3 years ago and made an elevator shaft from the top of the hill down to the ground. It is an incredible feeling to walk "inside" the hill. The atmosphere is cold, spooky and dark. It is clamy inside and from time to time you hear water drops hitting the stony ground. You follow the path which is sparely lighted and suddenly you see this modern monster of steel, that gives a blue light in the evening. It is incredibly high, there are round stairs everywhere and the 2 big lines where the elevators go up and down.

I´m deeply satisfied with this pic and I didn´t expect it to turn out that fine, because my flash is not really good and I was there in the evening. I still find it fascinating how modern techniques undergo nature...
