Iris, as they say in detective work, this is a cold case file, that I am opening up again after all these months.

The girl was either killed first, and her body brought to the edge of the shore, in the mud to look like it was a drowning, or she was knocked out there, and left to drown. I think she was killed first.
You can see the heavy footprints in the mud around her, like a man carried her to that spot, and placed her there. Doesn't look like a struggle, or fight took place.
The body might have had rigor mortis set in before she was placed there, because of the position of the legs.
Also no one likes to lay on cold mud to get a sun tan, they would rather lay on the warm beach sand.
She also has dried mud on the front part of both knees, and legs, which means that the water tide hasn't reached her yet, and the mud could be from the hands of the killer, as he positioned her legs.

PS: Who is the model ? She is a very good actress.
