The Amethyst Deceiver is a small fungus with a cap and stem that fades from lilac-violet to brownish with aging.
This species usually grows under beech or oaks and can be found from late summer to early winter.
Dutch name : Amethistzwam
German name : Violetter Lacktrichterling
Latin name : Laccaria amethystea
